24' Elco Electric Launch: New Construction
Hall's not only does repairs and restoration, we're also building new boats for Elco Motor Yachts. These boats have a modern fiberglass hull, but are finished with traditional wooden decks, coamings, and interiors. When this Elco arrived in the shop, the subdeck was installed, and the teak sole and hatches had also been installed. Since then, the sheerstrakes, covering boards, and deck planking have been shaped and installed. The next step is installing the rubrails, including a laminated rail to wrap around the curve of the stern.
